tbs

If you can’t wait the full five days before ‘New Again’ is released to the world, then Taking Back Sunday have you covered. The Long Island quintet are streaming their fourth studio album in full on their Official Myspace Page, so get ahead of the curve and be one of the first tohave a listen.

In other news,TBS have also been added to the envious bill of bands set to support Blink 182 on their mammouth tour of the US this summer, full dates can be found HERE.

What are your thoughts on ‘New Again’, on first listen we’re definitely not disappointed, ‘Everything Must Go’ has been a stand out from the start and has single written all over it. It’s certainly a progression from ‘Louder Now’ and fans wanting the bands to go back to the sounds of album one and two will probably be disappointed, for the rest of the world it seems like TBS have given us another catchy as hell album with a few surprises.

Taking Back Sunday have generously premiered a brand new song from upcoming fourth studio album “New Again”.

“Everything Must Go” has been posted, along with a message from frontman Adam Lazzara, who gives the reasoning behind the new song’s premature arrival as “it was just a song that everyone[at the listening parties] gravitated towards”.

The newest slice of TBS is now streaming for your listening pleasure on the band’s Official Myspace. It’s definitely the best thing that we’ve heard so far off of “New Again”, what are your thoughts?

Taking Back Sunday Post ‘Sink Into Me’ Clip

Everyone’s favourite Long Islanders, Taking Back Sunday have just posted a 30 second clip of upcoming single ‘Sink Into Me’ on their Official Myspace Page.

The single is taken off the band’s fourth studio album, ‘New Again’, which drops on 2nd June and follows 2006’s hugely successful ‘Louder Now’. The new album is the first to feature guitarist Matt Fazzi, taking over from Fred Mascherino (who left the band in 2008 to form the indulgently named ‘The Color Fred’).

Following the sneak preview, the video for ‘Sink Into Me’ was also filmed today in New York, where fans were given the chance to star in the video, via a MySpace Bulletin and open casting call.

The clip makes the almost two month wait for ‘New Again’ seem that little bit longer. Are you as impressed with it as we are?

Rancid Debut New Single Online

Rancid

Rancid are currently streaming new single, ‘Last One To Die’ on their Official Myspace Page and offering it up as a free mp3 download.

The single is the world’s first taste of what forthcoming album, ‘Let The Dominoes Fall’ will sound like, and from the clip and the first album preview from The LA Times Blog it looks like we’re in for something a little softer than 2003’s Indestructable.

What do you think of the single? You have until June 2nd before the album is released to make up your minds.
