Iron Maiden Announce London Film Premiere

Iron Maiden’s full length documentary, ‘Iron Maiden: Flight 666’ is making its way to the Odeon Kensington in London for its UK Premiere on April 20th.

The following day, the film will launch in 41 countries worldwide- making it the largest worldwide simultaneous release of a documentary film EVER. However, it’s only the UK Premiere that will have the band in attendance, so if you’re a red-carpet type then you can ogle them from afar.

The film follows the iconic band on the first leg of their ambitious Somewhere Back In Time World Tour in February and March 2008, where piloted by none other than frontman Bruce Dickinson– the band travelled to 13 different countries in just 45 days. And to make things even more badass- they did all of this in a customised Boeing 757, because nothing says metal like your own person massive Iron Maiden plane.

According to the Official Website, the film: ” is an honest and revealing portrait of one of the worlds most successful rock bands and a must–see for all Maiden fans and anyone interested in rock and what it is really like to tour at this level.”

We think seeing Bruce in a pilot’s hat, literally single-handedly navigating across the globe is reason enough to justify a ticket.
